---- There are children asleep in the streets,
sheltered by cardboard boxes and newspaper sheets. Meanwhile, I touch your naked body. An old man, locked in his apartment,
counts his days facing the mirror. While I warm your body over the pillows. The red taste of you fills my mouth
on the second day of April. Blood of street-sellers, mercilessly shot by the police,
paints in red the broken sidewalks. And I find you, alive, in my bed. I dive into your body.

Enlouqueceu 02:48
Ela enlouqueceu. Ela Enlouqueceu. Talvez você saiba dizer porque? O instante, o salto, a calma do asfalto.

The Rain joão macdowell He walks in the street, silence trails, Roaring rumors softly whispering, Along with Paranoia, someone who might be looking, Someone with big eyes, soft steps. The rain falls on me, The rain gives a picture of the soul of the city. Lips in the Xerox, I’ve photocopied the drops upon the city. She thinks of the pan she forgot in the fire, She thinks of the pot that got stuck, again, She thinks of the can that blew out through the roof, She thinks of everything she had to clean, again. Aluminum desire, I own collections of buildings on the sidewalk. Immersed in the mud, Friday night is drowning… He thinks about life, he thinks about death, Thinks about the past, what was lost, what was luck; Someone who’s gone, someone who won’t return, Someone in whom you think at each corner that you turn. The rain pours on me, The rain gives a picture of the soul of the city. Lips in the Xerox, I’ve photocopied the drops upon the city. Water makes new drawings in the windshield of the car, It washes your hair, it washes your shoes. Water that designs lines on your face, Runs to the sewer, drips on the rooftop. This rain just won’t stop, The rain tells me tales about the soul of the city. Lips in the Xerox, I’ve photocopied the drops upon the city. Aluminum desire, I went to the mall to get more… Immersed in the mud Friday night is drowning… Aluminum desire I’ve photocopied the drops....

Riding the mountain road I saw
A girl with a smile about me,
A child with her barefoot on the dust I saw,
A dream that cannot be reached. And you were lightening a spliff
And you pretending not to see me. Beyond the curve of the road, I heard,
Thunder and screams in the air
A boat was lost in the ocean far,
A dream that amounts to nothing, Whispering in my ear
Words that I simply do not understand.

Streets are filled with the terror that waits in the smell of the waste, exploding cars pieces are spread here and far. Streets are filled with girls who run wild with that heroin smile, someone down in the mud someone covered in blood. There comes the dealer, always wearing that smile Out to sell you your pleasure, out to tell you your dream. My tears are falling, I’ve read the headlines Children are starving, I see one sign of change. The wind is talking, the wind is making speeches The wind gives advice, to the ones who can try.

Your eyes are so red
I can see you've been crying
my heart skips a beat
and I reach out to your hand. can you light up that candle?
cause I'm afraid of the darkness.
and when you light up that candle,
just beware of the fire. There's so much suffering in the world.
there's no cure for pain, as I've been told. But if you light up that candle,
we'll get away from the darkness.
and when you light up that candle,
just beware of the fire. Since I have surrendered, I can see you’ve been crying, I wish I could hold you And I reach out to your hand. There's so much bloodshed in the world.
there's no need for that, I feel so cold.

Saudade 01:34
Saudade do meu amor, saudade. Faz tempo que ela se foi, saudade. Saudade do meu amor, saudade.
